The Shadowline Fence Panel
Named after its unique shadow from the Z shaped boards, the Shadowline panel is designed with architectural structures in mind. It has a modern profile with no visible fixings and is used with slotted Jakposts®.
Due to the construction, Shadowline panels are supplied in small sections so they are easier to manoeuvre and to install. The sections are combined on-site. For this project, two 0.91m high panels were combined with gravel boards to meet the specification of a two-metre high fence to keep the garden private. As the neighbour’s garden is higher, two gravel boards were used in some places to accommodate sloping ground and to maintain a consistent height, with a gentle step down between panels. Care was taken to keep all the horizontal lines of the fence panels lined up as this really adds to the aesthetics of the design.
